FILMING THE MUSIC VIDEO (Total Filming Time: 6–7 Hours)

Scene 1: Opening Shots/Introduction (1 Hour)

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • FX3 Setup: Begin by capturing wide, establishing shots of the location to introduce the space.
  • Camera Angles: Take some sweeping shots of the environment. Focus on capturing the setting around Sarah to give context to the music video.
  • Performance Shots: Sarah will start performing the intro of the song. You’ll shoot wide shots, close-ups of her face, and detailed shots like hands or props she’s using (if applicable).
  • Lighting: Ensure the lighting matches the song’s intro. If it’s softer and mellow, use warmer tones and dimmer lighting. Adjust for the camera settings accordingly.
  • iPhone 15 Shots: Capture dynamic handheld shots, perhaps of Sarah walking into the frame, which can give a more spontaneous feel to the opening.

Scene 2: Performance Shots (1 Hour 30 Minutes)

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

  • FX3 Setup: Transition to close-up shots and more dynamic angles. Use a mix of wide shots, medium shots, and close-ups to capture the energy of the performance.
  • Camera Angles: Switch between close-up facial shots and full-body shots to keep the video visually interesting. Focus on capturing Sarah’s expressions and body movements that match the song's intensity.
  • iPhone 15 Shots: Switch to the iPhone for handheld shots, following Sarah’s movement more fluidly. Use the iPhone to get tight shots, such as a close-up of her hands or an abstract view of her interacting with the set.
  • Lighting: Adjust the lighting as needed, particularly if the energy of the song picks up. Experiment with softer lighting for slower sections and brighter, more intense lighting for faster, more energetic sections of the song.

Scene 3: B-Roll/Detail Shots (1 Hour)

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM

  • iPhone 15 Setup: Focus on capturing detail shots of the environment and small, intimate moments (e.g., Sarah adjusting a prop, her hand on an instrument if applicable). Use the iPhone’s flexibility for handheld shots that create a more intimate feel.
  • FX3 Setup: Use the FX3 for medium to wide shots that capture the space or the artist in a broader context. This could be shots of Sarah walking through the location or interacting with the set in creative ways.
  • Lighting: Experiment with different angles of lighting for artistic effects. For example, you could use practical lights like desk lamps or string lights to create a moody atmosphere.
  • Backup Shots: Capture some additional angles or sequences in case you need more variety during editing.

BREAK (30 Minutes)
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM

  • Take a short break to rest and review the footage so far. Check with Sarah for any adjustments or ideas for the next scenes.

Scene 4: High-Energy Performance (1 Hour 30 Minutes)

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

  • FX3 Setup: Focus on the high-energy part of the song, using dynamic angles and motion shots. Capture wide shots and close-ups, ensuring that Sarah’s performance and energy come through.
  • iPhone 15 Shots: Use the iPhone to capture handheld moments that feel fast-paced. You can follow Sarah around the set or get closer to capture more personal, dynamic shots. These shots could be very effective in fast-paced sections of the song.
  • Lighting: For the energetic sections, adjust the lighting to add excitement. Consider using bright or colored lights to enhance the vibe of the scene.
  • Back-Up Shots: Revisit important moments, ensuring you’ve captured the movement and emotion you want for editing.

Scene 5: Slow Motion Shots (1 Hour)

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM

  • FX3 Setup: Use the 120fps slow-motion feature for dramatic moments in the song. This could be for an intense build-up or a powerful vocal delivery. Capture some stylized moments—perhaps Sarah’s movement or key gestures.
  • Camera Angles: Focus on specific details like Sarah’s expressions or the way light reflects off the set.
  • Lighting: Ensure the lighting is soft and even, especially if you’re using slow motion to highlight the mood.
  • iPhone 15 Setup: If necessary, capture some additional handheld slow-motion shots using the iPhone to give a sense of immediacy while still maintaining smoothness.

Scene 6: Final Performance/Closing Shots (1 Hour)

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

  • FX3 Setup: Film the last, most impactful shots of Sarah performing the final section of the song. This could involve wide shots, close-ups, and medium shots to capture the emotion of the song's conclusion.
  • Camera Angles: Make sure you film both full-body shots and intimate close-ups for the final moments.
  • iPhone 15 Shots: Capture any last, spontaneous shots that complement the closing performance.
  • Lighting: Adjust the lighting for the final emotional tone of the song, whether it's a warm glow for a happy ending or darker tones for a more reflective finish.
